About this course

You will be taken through conversations between two parties (ie: the patient and the doctor) part by part.

Listen carefully to the video clips, and observe the gestures and nonverbal cues.

You will be asked questions such as what you would say if you were in the shoes of the doctor/lead communicator.

There will be MCQs that test your knowledge of theoretical aspects of communication skills. There may be more than one correct answer.

This course uses audio recordings for you to practice responses in given situations.

Please use your personal device to record your response and evaluate it against the model answers provided in the course material.

This is an unsupervised course.  The lecturer will NOT review your responses, including audio recordings.  Any activity, including audio recordings, will not be graded. Your recorded responses are solely for practising.  To experience the best outcomes of the course, you must listen to your audio recordings/review your responses to compare your answers against the model answers provided in the course material.
